Lisa Musial, E-RYT

Lisa teaches two of our most dynamic classes, and many of her students have been with her for years. Her classes are classical in approach, and include opening chants and pranayama work. Her teaching influences include Dharma Mittra and the Ashtanga Yoga system of Pattabhi Jois. While Lisa can tailor sequences to multiple levels, if you enjoy experimenting with some of yoga’s more challenging poses, Lisa’s classes are for you.

Another influence of Lisa’s is her love of dance. This experience helps her create interesting sequencing in class. Music is an important component of her classes, and she carefully designs playlists that flow with the energy of the sequencing.

Lisa’s dance training can also be seen in her attention to warm-ups. Lisa likes to focus on longer and deeper warm-up sequences, so her students are prepared for the more challenging work to come.

Lisa received her 200 hour certification from Moksha Yoga. She has been teaching with Focus since we first opened our doors in 2005.
